TAPELAYERS FOR MAGNETIC AND HOLOMAGNETIC TAPE
 

Oasys Technologies has two types of Tapelayers within the standard range, the first of these being the OTL 200 system, which can be supplied for tape application onto overlay as a reel to reel unit, or as a reel to sheet unit or as both reel to reel and reel to sheet, this machine can also be configured to provide accurate monitoring and auditing facilities for holomagnetic tape application. The second version is the OMT 165 Monolayer tapelayer, this unit applies tape directly onto monolayer sheet substrates.

 COLLATING EQUIPMENT

 

 

 

Oasys Technologies Limited has 3 methods of collating systems in their range; starting with the basic manual based units, these being the OHC 100 for standard sheet collation and the upgraded specification of the OHC 150 and OHP 200 combination for precision RF Collation. The next method is the OCL500H semi automatic version, and finally the high speed OCL 600 collator range which provides automatic “print to print” collation for single, double and also combined RF inlay core products.

LAMINATING EQUIPMENT

 

Oasys Technologies provide a very comprehensive range of Lamination machinery which has been specifically developed for the Plastic Card industry. The range caters for a variety of different sheet formats, levels of automation, hourly output rates and different process materials. Firstly the OLA series, a compact high specification Single Stack laminator available as a manual tray fed unit, or with semi-automated or fully automated tray loading facilities. The next version is the larger range of OSS Single Stack lamination machines which provide a higher volume of output but with the same degree of precision program control. The third version is the OMTS, a mid range Semi-automated Twinstack laminator which brings in the efficiency effect for higher volume output of separate heating and cooling towers. The fourth variation is the fully automated high speed OTS Twinstack series.

GUILLOTINE EQUIPMENT

 

Oasys Technologies offer two types of Guillotine units. These are principally a Single edge guillotine unit, the OSG800, and a double edge version indicated as the ODG600. Both machine versions provide fully automated sheet registration to print marks to undertake precise “edge trimming” activities.

The Automatic Card Counters are designed with advanced logical analysis technology together with quality optical compnents and precise logical circuits. They can count almost all cards thicker than 0.4mm, made from various materials.

WHAT IS PLASTIC CARD EQUIPMENT AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Plastic card equipment includes a series of specialized machinery for the production of plastic cards.  From creating and punching out actual card material, to inspection systems and card counters; Spartanics has you covered.

Our technology is able to ease the customer through the process of card manufacturing one step at a time.  Although we do offer standard systems, we are able to customize our plastic card equipment to meet your application needs.

In order to not cause confusion, we will give a general overview of how a typical a plastic card system operates.  First, material (roll or sheet) is fed through a press where special dies cut the material.  This is also known as blanking.

The scrap for the material is then extracted and the remaining cut outs continue on a conveyor.  The cards that were created are then removed and sorted through a Card Inspection System.  The Card Inspection System checks for any defects within the card.

Finally, before shipping cards to the final customer, they are processed through a Card Counter.  The Card Counter, within seconds, counts the cards.
